Invalid Security Certificate Name Error - SSL Certificates

The "Name of the Security Certificate is Invalid or Does not Match the Name of the Site" error occurs when the certificate is being used on a different Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN) that is not listed as the common name on the certificate or as a Subject Alternative Name (SAN). For example, if your certificate is issued to "www.domain.com" then using it on "secure.domain.com" will result in a name mismatch error if that particular domain is not present on the certificate. The same Security Alert may also be seen if the intermediate certificate has not yet been installed and the server has not been rebooted.
