Overview
A site seal that proves that you have received GMO GlobalSign's authentication service and can only be used by websites that have introduced SSL certificates. It is an effective item that strongly appeals to users of your security efforts and shows that your site can be trusted. It is used by more than 10,000 websites.
If you add a statement to the effect that your site is protected by SSL next to the site seal, you can appeal to users that you are taking security measures. Here are some simple example sentences, so please refer to them.
e.g. This site is certified by GMO GlobalSign. The transmission of information from SSL-enabled pages are protected by encryption.
e.g. Your personal information on this site is protected by GMO GlobalSign's SSL.
Example: This site uses an SSL digital certificate issued by GMO GlobalSign.
View your site's profile with the site seal
The display of the site seal makes it clear at a glance that the site has been certified by GMO GlobalSign, a third-party certification authority, so users can use the site with peace of mind. You can check the profile details of the site by clicking on the site sticker.
* When updating, the expiration date of the site seal may not be updated because the old information is cached. The new information will be displayed when the cache information is automatically updated.
How to install a site seal
Step 1: Choose a seal design
* Please use the white design when the background of the area where the sticker is placed is dark.
Step 2: Select the size of the seal
Step 3: Install the script
Copy and paste the following script into the HTML source of your site.
This completes the configuration. After that, GMO GlobalSign's site seal server will authenticate your website and dynamically distribute the site seal.
* In order to automatically identify the certificate installed on the server, all seal scripts are the same regardless of the service.
*Please note that if you are using a script before January 17, 2024, the site seal will not be displayed after December 20, 2024, except for the Congressional, Mayor, and Political Party Verification Service.
FAQs about Site Seal Labeling and Specifications
Q.- Will the seal appear immediately?
It may take up to 30 minutes from the time the certificate is set up to the time it is displayed.
Q.- If I renew my certificate, how long does it take for the information to become new?
It will be updated with new information in about 30 minutes after the certificate is set.
Q.- What is the language of my profile?
The display language of the profile displayed by the sticker click depends on the language setting of the browser.

Q.- What browsers do you support?
It is a browser that supports TLS 1.2 and TLS 1.3. Please refer to the following for TLS 1.2 and TLS 1.3 support for each browser.

About the copy protection of the site seal
Prevent image copying
JavaScript suppresses right-click and prevents image copying.
* The gif-type seal is easy to copy, but the GMO Global Sign site seal cannot be copied.
Hidden on unauthenticated sites
It is dynamically generated by JavaScript, so it cannot be displayed on unauthenticated sites. Even if you post a copied image, in the case of unauthorized use, the profile will not be displayed by left-clicking.
* If the site viewer does not allow the use of JavaScript, a blank site seal will be displayed instead of a proper site seal. Please see the example on the right.
