Starting September 1, 2020, the maximum validity for all newly issued or reissued publicly trusted SSL/TLS orders will be 13 months (or 397 days) - this includes QWACs (Qualified Website Authentication Certificates).
Starting June 15 2025, the maximum validity period for Code Signing Certificates will be reduced from 39 Months to 15 Months (or 460 days). Also, effective February 28, 2025, GlobalSign will stop issuing 2-Year and 3-Year Code Signing Certificates and all the new Code Signing Certificates will be subject to a validity of 460 days only.
