Remove Expired Certificate in the SafeNet Token

Article Purpose: This article provides step-by-step instructions on how to remove expired certificate in the SafeNet token. This method helps resolve memory error and installation or signings issues. 

  1. Insert your SafeNet USB hardware token into your computer.

  2. Open the SafeNet Authentication Client Tools from your system.

  3. Click the gear icon to open the Advance View option. 

  4. On the left-hand side, under your token name, click the User Certificates drop-down to view available certificates. 

  5. Right-click on the expired certificate you wish to remove, then click Delete Certificate.

  6. Confirm deletion and click OK. Then, it will ask you to enter the token password. Click OK to complete action.
    Note: You will only enter your password once. If you wish to remove other certificates in the same menu, it will not ask you to enter password again.
