How to Download and Install a Digital Certificate onto your Android

Here are the steps on how to download and install a Digital Certificate onto your Android:

1. Access the download link you received from your email

2. Enter your pickup password

3. Create your certificate password.

        Note: This should be at least 12 alphanumeric characters

4. Check the “I agree” and click Next

5. Click Download My Certificate

6. Enter your certificate password to extract certificates

7. Window will prompt and enter your preferred certificate name

8. For credential use, keep it VPN and apps

Certificate is now installed on your device.

However, you will be seeing a warning on your notification saying “Network may be monitored” which is probably due to untrusted certificate.

To get rid of this warning, we must add the certificate on your trusted store:
 

1. Go to Settings

2. Go to Security

3. Select Install from device storage

4. This will take you to your phone’s directory. Choose your certificate file

5. Enter your certificate password

6. Enter again a certificate name and for credential use, keep it VPN and apps

7. Go to Trusted Credentials

8. Go to User and you should be seeing your certificate from there.

You may now use the certificate on your android phone.
