Suspend EPKI Profiles without Active Certificates

What's changing?

All EPKI profiles created before April 1st 2022 and without a valid Certificate tied to the specific profile at the point of May 8th 2023, 12:00 JST, will be disabled

The inactive profiles will be set to "suspended" status on May 8th 2023 via DCR, however, such disabled profiles can be re-activated by re-vetting after requesting for re-activation.

What should I do?

If you have an inactive profile, and you meet these conditions, you will be contacted and encouraged to issue at least one Certificate with the specific profile by the time, if you wish to retain your EPKI profile.

Why is this happening?

SMIME Baseline Requirement changes will be effective on Sep 1st 2023 and one of the more important changes is the addition of Organization Identifier field applicable for enterprise product i.e. EPKI.
