Effective March 15, 2026, new CA/B Forum Baseline Requirements for publicly-trusted TLS certificates take effect, mandating:
Certificates issued on or after this date are limited to a maximum validity of 200 days.
Identity validation reuse for all publicly trusted certificates is limited to 398 days.
Domain / IP address validation reuse is limited to 200 days.

Starting March 1, 2026, the maximum validity period for Code Signing Certificates will be reduced from 39 Months to 460 days. All current Code Signing Certificates will remain valid until their expiration date. From 26 December 2025, GlobalSign will stop issuing 2-Year and 3-Year Code Signing Certificates. We will continue issuing with 1-Year (366 days) Code Signing Certificates. All new Code Signing Certificates issued or renewed after 24 February 2026, will be subjected to the new validity changes.
