Order Cancellation - GlobalSign Certificate Center (GCC)

Cancelling an Order in the GlobalSign Certificate Center (GCC)

Article Purpose: This article provides step-by-step instructions on how to cancel an order through your GlobalSign Certificate Center (GCC) account.

If you wish to cancel a completed order you may do so automatically within the 7 day refund period. After the 7 day refund period you will need to contact support to help you cancel your order. Depending on how you paid for the certificate, canceled orders automatically refund the appropriate amount of credit to deposit accounts, directly refund credit cards or cancel outstanding invoices.

To cancel an order within the 7 day refund period:

  1. Log into your GCC account and select the tab of where your certificate is located. This example will show the cancellation of a PersonalSign certificate.

  2. Select Search Order History under My Certificate, then enter your Order ID (case sensitive) or common name in the search screen. Alternatively, you may leave it blank to search for all orders, then click Search.

  3. Once you have found the correct certificate, click Edit.

  4. At this point you can either click Cancellation Request to completely cancel the order. This will have you confirm all of the details, then click Confirm to finalize the cancellation.

Or you can click Cancel & Start this Order Again to restart the order process and pre-populate your information.

Note: The cancellation button will only be visible for 7 days after vetting has been completed. If you do not have the "Cancellation Request" or "Cancel & Start This Order Again" buttons available to you, please contact our support team.
