Install Certificate - F5 FirePass

Article Purpose: This article provides step-by-step instructions for installing your certificate in F5 FirePass. If this is not the solution you are looking for, please search for your solution in the search bar above.

1. From the Admin's Console, click Server.


2. Click Security.


3. Click the Certificates link.


4. Click the Install link next to Install/Renew Certificate.


5. Click the Add new certificate button at the bottom of the screen.


6. Copy the certificate and key and paste them into the appropriate box.


7. Paste your certificate into the box with the subject "Paste the new certificate in the PEM format (for Apache + mod_ssl) here".


8. Paste your corresponding private key that you previously generated in the box with the subject "Paste the corresponding cryptographic key in PEM format here".


9. If your certificate and private key are password protected enter the password in the box named "Enter password here".


10. Paste your intermediate certificate in the box named "Optionally, put your intermediate certificate chain here (in the PEM format)". Despite the F5 FirePass fieldname, the intermediate is not optional.


11. Finally, click the Go button.
