OVERVIEW: This page walks you through the process of requesting and applying TLS Connect License Key. TLS Connect uses a machine-specific license key. After installation, you must generate a license request file and send it to GlobalSign to receive your license key. For more information and frequently asked questions, please refer to this page. |
Open the TLS Connect application and navigate to the Settings > License Manager tab.
Click Request License.
Enter your company name, company address, your name, and your email address.
TLS Connect generates a license request file containing the server’s machine fingerprint.
Download and save the generated license request file (.req).
Send the license request file to GlobalSign using the instructions provided at the time of purchase.
Once GlobalSign processes your request, you will receive a license key file (.lic).
Return to the Settings > License Manager tab in TLS Connect.
Click Apply License and upload the license key file provided by GlobalSign.
Select the GlobalSign issuing platform you will be using with TLS Connect (GCC or Atlas).
After the license is applied, if you chose a GlobalSign issuing platform in the previous step, you will be redirected to the applicable platform Configuration screen to configure TLS Connect with your GlobalSign issuing platform. The License Manager screen will display the current license status and remaining validity period, confirming that TLS Connect is ready for use.
NOTE: License keys are tied to the server where TLS Connect is installed. If TLS Connect is moved to a new server, a new license key is required.
