How to Order a New SSL Certificate

Introduction

This article provides step-by-step instructions for ordering a new SSL Certificate, such as a DomainSSL, OrganizationSSL, and ExtendedSSL. If this is not the solution you are looking for, please search for your solution in the search bar above.

Process

  1. If you already have a GlobalSign Certificate Center (GCC) account, log in and go to the SSL Certificates tab. If you are a new customer, please visit this page

  2. Click on "Order Certificate" in the diagram below. This will redirect you to the Certificate Application window.

  3.  In the Certificate Application window, select the applicable options and click "Continue."
  4. Add a Point of Contact by providing the required details in the Point of Contact for Certificate Delivery/Vetting Issues window.
    You can choose to use Auto Fill and then click Continue.

  5. Enter your CSR in the designated box and click Continue.
  6. Review your CSR details and then click Continue. 
  7. Choose one of the Domain Validation Methods (Approver Email, HTTP Verification Method, or DNS TXT Record) and follow the provided guidelines for verification.
  8. Select a payment method and then click Continue.
  9. Review your CSR details, tick "I agree to the Subscriber Agreement," and click Continue.​​​​​​​
  10. Once you see the confirmation diagram, you have successfully ordered a new SSL Certificate.​​​​​​​
