The Pickup Password requested during the download and installation of your Certificate is set during the ordering process. It is used to ensure that the person responsible for ordering the Certificate is the one to install it. It is a temporary, single use password, only used when picking up a Certificate from a download link. The pickup password must be at least 8 characters long. It may contain alphabetical and/or numerical characters. To know more about Pickup Password, follow this guide.

Special characters are not allowed when completing online certificate request. When you complete your online certificate request you will be asked to enter a username and password of your choice. We support alpha-numeric characters encoded in Unicode-8 and Unicode-16. Special characters, including the following are NOT acceptable:
( ) { } [ ] | ` ¬ ¦ ! " £ $ % ^ & * " < > : ; # ~ _ - + = , @
If you do use a disallowed character and the system does not recognize your error, you will not be allowed to use the password or username to log into your account later.
The SafeNet eToken requires the following passwords:
Administrator Password - This password is used to manage the eToken. The default Administrator Password is "0" 48 times (for 5110 CC (940) version) as provided by the manufacturer. If lost, forgotten or entered incorrectly for several times, the eToken will be permanently locked and you must purchase a new one.
Token Password - This password is used to access the eToken certificate store. If lost or forgotten, you can initialize the eToken and create a new password using the administrator password. This action will requires reinstallation of the certificates.
