Add or Remove SANs in MSSL

OVERVIEW: This page walks you through the process of adding or removing SANs in your MSSL profile. At the completion of this procedure, you will be able to order a new Certificate in your MSSL account. For more Certificate management guides in MSSL, please refer to this page.  

Guidelines

  1. Log in to your GCC account, then go to the Managed SSL tab. 

  2. Click Find & Report on Certificates.

  3. Enter the Oder ID or simply click Search to see the full list of Certificates in your profile.

  4. Select the Certificate you want to update, then click Edit to see the order details.

  5. Under the Certificate Actions section, click Add/Remove SANsNote: GlobalSign no longer supports AutoCSR. To Add/Remove SANs on an order originally placed using AutoCSR, you must first reissue and submit a CSR.

  6. In the Enter SAN Option window, you will find the current SAN/s listed in your Certificate. 

    • To add SANs, enter or paste new SAN entries into the window.
    • To remove SANs, delete the SAN entries from the window

    Then, click Validate these SANs to continue.

  7. The system will detect any newly added SAN and display the total amount. Click Continue.

  8. Review all the details you entered, then click Complete.

  9. Once you've added the SAN successfully, you will receive an email notification to confirm your new Certificate.

Pricing Logic

The table below shows the possible scenarios of adding/removing SANs and the corresponding pricing logic. Note: The pricing logic below does not apply to MSSL SAN Licensing.

Scenario Pricing Logic
Add a SAN (subdomain/FQDN/wildcard SAN) Payment will be required for each additional SAN added. The cost depends on the SAN type (subdomain, FQDN, and/or wildcard) and the remaining certificate validity. Use Validate these SANs button to assist with pricing calculations.
Add a UCC SAN (www, owa, mail & autodiscover) UCC SANs can be added free of charge for the Common Name domain.

autodiscover.intranetssltest.com
Delete a SAN Please note that we do not provide refunds for deleted SANs.
