OVERVIEW: This page walks you through the process of renewing domains in GlobalSign MSSL accounts. At the completion of this procedure, you will be able to renew domain in your MSSL accounts. |
Log in to your GCC account, then go to the Managed SSL tab.
Click the View button under the Expiring Domains category to update a specific domain. Alternatively, you can click Find & Report on Domains to view the list of all domains in your profile.
Click the Renew button to proceed to the next page.
IMPORTANT: The renew button is only available within 30 days before your Certificate expires and 7 days after your Certificate has expired. We will also send an email notification before your Certificate expires. If this button is not available within the said period, please contact support for assistance. |
Alternatively, you can change the validation method or renew at any time using the Re-validate option.
The Domain Renewal window will display your domain details. Click Continue to proceed.
In the Organizational Point of Contact window, click Auto Fill to populate pre-filled information. Then, click Continue.
IMPORTANT: If you tick the checkbox for Is this the Point of Contact for communications?, the POC will receive renewal notices in addition to the person who placed the order (when enabled for the domain). Renewal emails are disabled by default, but you have the option to turn them on. |
Select your preferred Domain Verification Method (Approver Email, HTTP Verification Method, or DNS TXT Record), then click Continue.
IMPORTANT: Ensure that you have the selected the domain verification method that meets your requirements. Otherwise, you need to cancel your current order and reorder to change your selection. Learn more about Domain Verification Methods here. |
Review the information you supplied, then click Complete.
You have now successfully placed an order. In the next window, you will see the confirmation and instructions on how you will proceed with domain verification.
Check your certificate installation for SSL issues and vulnerabilities.
